The centuries-old masculine/feminine power structures have long since lost their original power and orientation. Trying to re-create or apply them today saps us of our energy, robs us of our health and humanity. My heart bleeds when I see that most executives today have given up hope, have lost their original spirit and courage, and are suffering. And so often it is out of fear – the fear of losing their job and ability to care for their families. They are paralyzed, numb. I call it modern-day slavery.
Add to this generational conflict. Young executives today have a completely different understanding of family, self-determination, leadership styles, and male-female roles and responsibilities. In many companies this new outlook and approach crashes hard into traditional masculine standards and requirements as well as traditional ways of top-down management and control.
And to rediscover the new, original and healthy balance.
It takes courage, knowledge and skill to go this route.
